Hard Hat Library Tour

Matilda Smith, Library Manager, guided Altrusans and friends on a hard hat tour of the new Chattahoochee Valley Regional Library System facility on Macon Road in Columbus, GA,, on October 1, 2004. Matilda assured us that by the time the new Library opens in January 2005, the view from the balcony off the Grand Reading Room will have improved considerably and will no longer include the Porta-Potties. Claudya Muller, Matilda Smith, and the rest of the team have done a fantastic job on this project and the new Library will be a tremendous asset to Columbus and all the people in the surrounding area. Can't wait for it to open!
